New, renewed or used: what each condition means
Renewed devices can save you a lot. Here is what we check before we sell one, and how to pick the right condition.
Every product on First Souq shows its condition next to the price. Here is what each one means, so you know exactly what arrives at your door. New Sealed in the original box, never activated, with the full manufacturer warranty shown on the page. Renewed A pre-owned device that has been fully checked and prepared for resale. Before we list a renewed device we: test the screen, touch, cameras, speakers, microphones, charging, buttons and Face ID or fingerprint; check the battery health and state it on the listing; confirm it is not locked to any account or carrier and erase it completely; clean it and pack it safely with a charging cable. Renewed devices come with the warranty stated on the product page, and the same 7-day return right as new ones. Used Working, tested devices that may show visible signs of use. The listing describes the cosmetic grade so there are no surprises. How to choose Want the longest life and the latest features? Go new. Want a flagship for less? A renewed model from the last two generations is often the best value. Have a question about a specific device? Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you its battery health and grade.
